The King and the Duck.
Two young men who grew up together playing streetball in Los Angeles.
King, a 6'9 guard who spent the year at LSU. Duck, a 7'1 big man coming off a year at Syracuse.
King was recently quoted saying:
"Yeah man. Crazy how it works out. It was tough man, you know, not getting an invite to 'Cuse to play with Duck. But here we are man. Maybe if I go there I don't start and don't play how I did, and I might not be declaring for this draft, you know?"
Duck:
"That's my boy man, King. We grew up on the court together, straight up. We played older dudes at Venice, like in the movie "White Men Can't Jump". That's how we got our nicknames actually. King and Duck are the ballers they play at the end. Straight up, one day I got put on a poster man, by this white guy. Maybe 6'2. And I'm like 6'10 at the time. He stuffed it right in my face. It was kinda like the movie so the names just stuck. But yeah man, I'm feeling pretty good about everything. I played pretty well during my invite, King played well. I'm just hoping both of us land a spot in the league man, then we goin' sizzla."

Humorous article, like the reference to White Men Can't Jump and the video is a nice touch. It was entertaining as you really gave your players some personality.
