Right now I am trailing a new media rule: "Every 10 Forum Posts: 1 Point, all Players"
Let me know what you guys think. Here are my thoughts.
Pros - boosts forum activity - creates another opportunity to gain upgrade points - 1 point is not too much
Cons - might create spam - potential unfair advantage for those who post more

I think we just grade the articles as they come in. It's already going to be an advantage to the managers who can post more, I would be more worried about that potential spam than anything else.

Well I guess I meant every 10 forum posts anywhere. I just put it in the Media section because it seemed like it should fit there. But any post you write counts towards that reward. Does that change your thoughts Walt?

I see the thought-process behind it, but I still don't know. I could get on every result day and say "18 and 9!" one day, "only 5 & 7?!" another day, and so on, and accumulate a lot of cheap points.
But, if you just want people getting more points to help with activity then I don't have a major problem with it per se, just not sure if it will cheapen points as we go along.

I guess I am going to keep it for now and just do it as a trial this season. If it doesn't boost activity then I can take it down. It's not really affecting anything right now.
